Creation of a versatile language learning system.

This complex project included branding, printed books and CD packaging, online courses, a responsive website, and apps for both phones and tablets.

Branding was the first step in moving language-learning books and CDs into a digital format. The logo shows four speech bubbles for the company’s learning focus: vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and speaking. Bright colors make the languages feel lively and welcoming. A brand style guide was then created and applied across all touchpoints.

I worked with the content director and external developers to design books with tagged stylesheets so content flowed smoothly into online courses and iOS apps. I also collaborated with editors to create simple interactive games that reinforce learning.

I worked with the UX designer to learn the wireframes and with the developer on micro-interactions to design a responsive website that sells and hosts online courses.
