In transitioning traditional language learning books and CDs to a digital experience, I started with rebranding. The logo concept consisted of four speech bubbles representing the company’s learning methodology (vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and speaking skills) with bright colors bringing life to languages and welcoming learners. From there I created a brand style guide and carried it over to various touchpoints.

Working with the director of content management and out-of-house developers, I designed the books with tagged stylesheets that allowed content to flow seamlessly from books to online courses and iOS apps. At the same time, working with the editors to brainstorm and design simple interactive games to reinforce learning.
